On selected Mondays and Fridays, we will offer a brief welcome session and tour that focuses on the resources and facilities available to Johns Hopkins undergraduates in the Whiting School of Engineering. These 75-minute sessions are led by faculty and current students and feature engineering classrooms, offices, and research centers that are not part of the standard campus tour.
Tour guides, faculty members, and graduate students will discuss hot topics in engineering as well as research opportunities across all engineering disciplines. Students are also provided with the chance to ask questions about student life and academics from the perspective of an engineering student at Johns Hopkins.
Programs will be offered while availability lasts (please note that there will not be a tour offered on Monday, October 15).
Registration
Reservations are required and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the space constraints of our labs, we request that you limit your party size to three people.
Upon arrival on campus, please check in at the table in the outer lobby of Mason Hall and tell the receptionist that you plan on attending the engineering tour. Tour guides will gather registered participants in the outer lobby of Mason Hall five minutes prior to tour departure; tours conclude back at Mason Hall.
